The way to the two clans are portrayed in my opinion, is perfect. They have the exact same thinking more or less, and quite frankly it comes as no surprise that they eventually became allies with people like Madara and Hashirama leading them. It also now comes to no surprise as to why they never killed each other in battle, because they were actually great friends. Yet, they both probably slaughtered one another's comrades. And interesting dynamic to say the least.

The comedy as well, as others pointed out, is great and feels natural. It's refreshing I guess because most of Naruto's comedy seems forced and very childish whereas these gags are quite funny. Aside from that, it'll be interesting to see where things go from here. Hopefully we get a time skip to when they are Sasuke and Naruto's age so we can see what they were like in comparison to our main characters now. But as children, to me, they seem to be much better friends than Naruto and Sasuke ever were. In this chapter, Madara already implies he has sharingan. He stops before saying sharingan, though. Considering Butsuma said Madra is probably a prodigy due to having killed adult senju, he very likely has sharingan. Not sure what level, though. As for Hashirama, it's hard to tell. I would have to think, if he uses Mokuton, that he was already capable of it before hand or was close to being able to use. I don't think a fusion is something you do in the heat of the moment without having done it before.
